Review your projects as objectively as you can. As you did with your film, write a brief critical and constructive self evaluation of your work overall this semester.
In reference to self evaluation, I would say that I have learned that I have less patience then I thought I did. I actually thought I was a patient person, but I am not. In reference to my work, I like some of the pictures I took when doing the lighting assignment. I had actually been intimidated by the use of light ( most of my pictures are outside!) I wish I had had more time with the movie. It was much more difficult to do then I thought it would be. I found Flash and Dreamweaver to be the most difficult of all. I do believe in systems like this ( and photoshop) that you just have to play around to figure it out.
Memorable class highlight: I really enjoyed looking and discussing everyones work. It was enlightening and interesting. I enjoyed Marilias movie the best.

Preferred medium after the course: Photography, but now I can use Photoshop!!!
A topic/theme/question I would like to
investigate in my next project is: I would like to try to make a movie of some interest!

with a budget of $15: I would do the entire project myself in Imovie.

As I lament on the end of my IMOVIE experience, I found it to be a very profound experience. I am not too sure that the genre I chose was not just for the love of horror films, or the horror I was feeling in having to produce something that would even closely resemble a movie. I enjoyed the process and even before I read Wabi Sabi, would say Wabi Sabi to myself to make myself remember not to be too critical. I learned so many things that will help me in the future with my photography, and also learned some things about myself ( as I am very critical of myself.) I would venture to say that for me, as I get older, I am a bit more cautious in my actions. Some might call this wisdom, some might call it fear, I am not sure yet. What I am sure of is that I feel through these experiences that I will be more fearless when it comes to my creativity. I also want to express to everyone in class how much I enjoyed their work and their support, even when I thought things were not so great, someone would say something nice. It is a pleasure to be able to learn with such a great group of creative people.
I was just in a Rite Aid picking up some supplies on my lunch hour. As I wander around the store I heard something, "no, it couldn’t be," I stopped and listened “ am I really hearing the beginning of the Violent Femmes song Gone Daddy Gone?" yes, it was, not only was it the Violent Femmes song but to make matters worse it was cover! Rite Aid was playing a cover of a Violent Femmes song. I couldn’t move, my mouth agape, I felt sick, confused, why was I in store, how had I gotten there? who invented liquid soap and why? No one else in the store cared, did they even know who the Violent Femmes were? Did the Violent Femmes consent to this? Why is this bothering me so much! .... the song ended and transitioned into a Charlie Daniels Band song. The world has gone mad.
